This Thursday Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly will host its first, of what we hope to be many, Live at The Lyric! Annual Fundraiser. The show will be at The Lyric Stage 140 Clarendon St at 7:30 PM. General admission tickets are $50, and VIP tickets (includes a personal meet & greet with Jimmy following the show and a signed DVD) are $100. An additional $3 processing fee will be added.
Throughout the year, volunteers, donors and supporters are pulled in many directions from hundreds of nonprofits. For many organizations, the Annual Fundraiser is one of their biggest sources of income for their programs. Therein lies the dilemma – how to decide which galas to attend and which organizations to support. Without any of our friends in the nonprofit sector, Boston would be a much different place – they are all doing important work.
Instead of the Annual Gala, Little Brothers is trying something new this year to give you a break. Live at The Lyric! is a comedy show. It doesn’t require formal attire, tickets aren’t hundreds of dollars, and you don’t need to spend a night listening to speeches (ok, maybe a couple short ones). Live at The Lyric! is a night out, and hopefully something that you will genuinely enjoy, while supporting our elderly friends.
Don’t worry though, there will still be ways to donate and contribute to your favorite Boston charity. From pre-show through intermission we’ll have silent auction items to bid on. Take a look at the packages below to plan your strategy!
