May may have been an awesome month! Wait, who am I kidding? Of course it was! You all made May another great month for elders across the city! Here are a few folks we would like to recognize:
LBFE’s Program Assistants taught three classes in partnership with Tech Goes Home at the BCYF Roslindale center and hosted over 12 City Sites.
8 volunteers visited and delivered flowers to 8 elders with Friendship & Flowers
NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY’s Center for Community Service students began their summer of service through the City Sites program.
Tufts University graduate students and our Albert Schweitzer Fellow presented on their semester and year long service projects with LBFE.
Want to get involved with your group or just by yourself? It’s easy! Come to an orientation on the second Saturday of each month- and then if you have time, visit and deliver flowers to an elder. Questions? Send a note to Airlie Parham at aparham.bos@littlebrothers.org.
