#facetofacefriday #pridemonth Meet Meredith, one of the Northeastern students wrapping up her six-month co-op at LBFE Boston, and a participant in our new Gen2GenQ program!

In her own words, "Gen2GenQ was one of the reasons I chose LBFE for my co-op this semester. I loved the idea of connecting with older queer people, hearing about their lives and their experiences in the movement."

Check out this important intergenerational, community project, "1975: A Vietnamese Diaspora Commemoration Initiative," co-organized by LBFE Creative Connections arts instructor, Tran Vu.

"49 years after the end of the Vietnam war, members of Boston's large Vietnamese American community are working to honor their elders and tell the stories often left out of the history books... The organizers hope to install a permanent memorial in Boston ahead of the 50th anniversary next year."
