Rosemary McAndrew

Board President

Rosemary joined the LBFE Board in 2019 after volunteering for more than 15 years. She brings experience serving in various board positions of professional, commercial, and non-profit organizations. Her interest in LBFE is an extension of her upbringing in a family where intergenerational gatherings were the heart of the family.

Rosemary earned a Ph.D. from Northeastern University with a focus on elder care law and policy. She has been published internationally on the topic of avoidable hospitalizations of nursing home residents. Select research-related experiences include examining business models, economic drivers, and quality indicators in the approach to the care of people in the home setting as part of HCCI’s Home-Based Primary Care course curriculum, being selected as a panel member presenting “Moving & Scaling Home-Based Primary Care” at a GIH National conference, and having served on the Advisory Board for the NIH-funded “Home-Based Primary Care for Homebound Seniors Trial” at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai NY.

She is a risk management executive and principal of MRM, Inc. of Boston, a consulting firm specializing in risk and insurance management, alternative risk financing, self-insurance, reinsurance, captives and other risk financing models.

Through her experiences, she recognizes the need to reinforce the values of diversity, flexibility, and responsiveness in addressing the current and changing needs of communities.

Michael joined the LBFE Board in 2023 is the President of Crane Payment Innovations, an advanced technology company focused on delivering solutions to secure, detect, and authenticate important assets and industrial processes. He leads a global team driving growth and innovation in the Financial Services, Gaming, and Retail spaces throughout the world, with a focus on developing new industrial detection technologies aimed at enabling trusted transactions at every step of the value chain.

Prior to this role, Michael led both the Transactional & Edge and Home & Distribution businesses at Schneider Electric and held roles of increasing responsibility at GE Appliances and GE Energy, including leading the Monogram brand team at GE Appliances, and managing GE’s EV Infrastructure and Low Voltage Equipment businesses at GE Industrial Solutions.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. Michael lives in Westwood, Massachusetts, with his wife Megan and two children. Together they enjoy skiing, hiking, and supporting far too many Boston sports teams.

With a distinguished career as a U.S. diplomat from 2001 to 2025, Carrie reached the rank equivalent to a one-star Army General. She served at U.S. embassies and consulates in Angola, the UK, Panama, Russia, Nicaragua, and Brazil. She holds a master’s degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s in political science from Adelphi University. Carrie is proficient in Portuguese and Spanish, with basic knowledge of German and Russian.

As a coach, Carrie focuses on empowering senior executives to achieve growth and success. She has worked with Senior Executive Service officials at the Department of State and global CEOs, gaining a reputation for her ability to guide clients in reassessing and reaching their professional goals.

Josh Obeiter

Josh joined LBFE in 2026. Josh Obeiter is the Executive Director & Owner of Seniors Helping Seniors, a non-medical home care agency that provides companion and caregiver support to seniors, by seniors. It’s unique model provides meaningful employment for older adults who have an intrinsic desire to help and make a difference in the lives of seniors in need. Seniors Helping Seniors relationship based model is focused on the social-emotional connection between caregiver and client, and is intentional with all of the matches that are made.

For the past 20 years, Josh has been intimately involved with volunteering with seniors, primarily providing intergenerational programming at local nursing homes and assisted living communities; he is well-versed in the challenges that seniors and their families face when it comes to providing care and combating social isolation. Josh is active in several other Boston organizations, including the West Suburban Area Alzheimer’s Partnership and the Aging Life Care Association. He is also the Chair of the 2020 Greater Boston Walk to End Alzheimer’s, is a trained Dementia Ambassador through the Alzheimer’s Association, a Certified Dementia Practitioner and sits on the Board of Directors for Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly as well as Better Day Adult Social Day Program.

Kelsey graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in English and Psychology and earned a Master’s Degree from Literary and Cultural Studies from Carnegie Mellon University.

Currently she is the Head of Business Development at Stratos Consulting, a technology consulting firm focused on the digital transformation of life science organizations in the areas of Enterprise Performance Management, Data & Analytics, and Integration & Automation. Prior to joining Stratos she spent her career in the life sciences taking on various roles in finance, commercial analytics and sales operations.
