For the past 10 years Kristen has been an active member of her community, advocating for youth development and education, homelessness, and elder loneliness.

Currently she is the Head of Business Development at Stratos Consulting, a technology consulting firm focused on the digital transformation of life science organizations in the areas of Enterprise Performance Management, Data & Analytics, and Integration & Automation. Prior to joining Stratos she spent her career in the life sciences taking on various roles in finance, commercial analytics and sales operations.

Billy is currently the Chief of Staff in the Secretary & CEO’s Office at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) where he’s responsible for ensuring the department’s  strategic goals, initiatives and objectives for public transportation and infrastructure are advanced and delivered upon across a variety of divisions and services, including the Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) where he also served as Chief of Staff.

Billy previously served as a spokesman and communications advisor to Governor Charlie Baker, coordinating media relations and messaging strategy on a successful reelection campaign and on public policy initiatives across Massachusetts’ Executive Branch. He has worked in prior communications roles for campaigns and firms in Pennsylvania, Washington, DC and North Carolina.
A NC native, Billy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. Billy and his wife Jessica live in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood, and in addition to volunteering with LBFE, Billy enjoys his spare time as a runner, and is a proud finisher of the 2017 Boston Marathon.

Diane joined the LBFE Board in 2021, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in the legal field and a desire to contribute to a nonprofit that seeks to make meaningful, direct, impactful change to individuals at the local level.

Diane is an attorney and currently a Vice President at Fidelity Investments, where she focuses her expertise in drafting and negotiating complex master services agreements for Fidelity Workplace Services. In between closing deals, she is constantly thinking of and implementing ways to improve the contracting experience for Fidelity and its clients both in the U.S. and globally. Prior to Fidelity, Diane spent ten years as business litigation associate at a Boston-based law firm, handling a wide variety of business disputes at the state and federal level from initial discovery through to trial and appeal. In 2020, Diane and her father wrote and selfpublished Once a Northender, a memoir chronicling her dad’s experiences as the son of Italian immigrants from his childhood in the 1930s through to his life today.

Diane graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in History and received her J.D. from Suffolk Law School. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Diane and her husband Jonathan have two amazing children, Peter and Nathanael, and one adorable Boston Terrier, Leon.

James joined the LBFE Board of Directors in late 2022. He is the Executive Director of the Center Communities of Brookline, a 511 multi-income independent senior housing with supportive services campus located in Coolidge Corner, Brookline, MA.  Mr. Brown is responsible for the management of Center Communities of Brookline which involves overseeing administrative, fiscal, facilities, community life, religious services and dining service operations.

Prior to joining Center Communities of Brookline, James was on active duty for the Massachusetts Air National Guard as a regional medical planner. James has 20+ years of healthcare experience both as a physical therapist and administrator for orthopedics and rehabilitation departments and holds a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University, a Doctor of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute for Health Professionals and a Masters of Business Administration from Endicott College.

He lives in Milton with his wife, daughter and son and enjoys traveling, cooking and mountain biking.

Rosemary earned a Ph.D. from Northeastern University with a focus on elder care law and policy. She has been published internationally on the topic of avoidable hospitalizations of nursing home residents. Select research-related experiences include examining business models, economic drivers, and quality indicators in the approach to the care of people in the home setting as part of HCCI’s Home-Based Primary Care course curriculum, being selected as a panel member presenting “Moving & Scaling Home-Based Primary Care” at a GIH National conference, and having served on the Advisory Board for the NIH-funded “Home-Based Primary Care for Homebound Seniors Trial” at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai NY.

She is a risk management executive and principal of MRM, Inc. of Boston, a consulting firm specializing in risk and insurance management, alternative risk financing, self-insurance, reinsurance, captives and other risk financing models.

She is the Assistant Manager of Match Support at Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. Within her role, she oversees the support of one-to-one matches on the Community Based team. Nikki began her career in case management at the Agency on Aging in New Haven, CT. She served in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia as a Health Economic Development Adviser and later Volunteer Coordinator from 2009-2013.

Nikki enjoys hiking, kayaking, skiing, volleyball and crocheting stuffed animals. She lives in Roslindale with her husband, Dan, and their two cats, Anbesa and Zoe.
