Hold a Supply Drive to Benefit LBFE Boston

Two of our flagship programs and participants appreciate supply and gift card donations.  Please see the Amazon Wish Lists for specific needs. In-kind donations can be shipped directly to the LBFE Boston main office (address on file with Amazon), or a team-building opportunity with a special supply drop-off to our main office in Boston can be arranged.

Make Seasonal Greeting Cards for Older Adults

Throughout the year, LBFE Boston distributes homemade seasonal greetings cards to our older adult program participants.  A card from a caring person can really brighten a day and make someone feel loved and remembered.  Individuals, community groups, and corporations are invited to participate.  Contact jdemayo@lbfeboston.org with your full name and email address, and you will receive an auto-reply with more specific information and deadlines.   Thank you!

Be a Social Media Ambassador!

One of the simplest ways you can volunteer and support LBFE Boston’s mission is to be a social media ambassador!  The more people who know about the importance of relieving and preventing social isolation among older adults, the more intergenerational, social & digital equity programs, and creative arts classes we can offer in public/affordable housing and senior centers. Just follow our social channels below, and when our posts speak to you, comment & share with your networks.  Email your first name, social handles & a photo to Jean at jdemayo@lbfeboston.org and we’ll follow you back and do a shout-out! Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter/X.
